Paxson Releases “Angel” To Hallmark

Paxson Communications announced that it is stepping up its development of original programming for the PAX TV network, and will release "Touched by an Angel" to the Hallmark Channel. Along with CBS, PAX has entered into a sublicense agreement with Hallmark, which will assume the exclusive off-network rights to the program. PAX has already announced new, original programming for the fall, including three new drama series, "Body and Soul," starring Peter Strauss and Larissa Laskin, "Just Cause," starring Richard Thomas and Elizabeth Lackey, "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye," starring Deanne Bray, "Young Blades," a new series for midseason and close to 30 original made for television movies and six Mary Higgins Clark mystery movies.
