24/7 Real Media Wins Vivendi

Vivendi Universal Net USA has picked 24/7 Real Media's Open AdStream for interactive marketing on its sites. VUNet USA's sites include RollingStone.com, The Flipside Network and MP4.com. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

VUNet USA will serve its ads via Open AdStream's Multi-Account Module, which includes the ability to serve multiple high-traffic sites like VUNet's. VUNet USA advertisers will also be able to use Open AdStream's features like surround-style and reach-style campaigns, Boolean keyword recognition and private impressions data.

"MP3.com has been a very important partner of ours for years now. So, we're extremely pleased to be working with them to extend a premium solution for the other VUNet USA sites," said Tom Capato, SVP, Technology Sales for 24/7 Real Media.

In its weekly report for July 15-21, Media Metrix showed that Vivendi Universal Net USA's music & media group has climbed to the #3 online music spot for total unique visitors -- ahead of MTV, Yahoo Music, Sony Music, AOL Music and MSN Music.
