Engine is appointing Jim Moffatt as chief executive officer of Engine's Europe and Asia Pacific operations effective October 15.

Moffatt's remit includes oversight of the marketing network's eight offices in London, Manchester, Dusseldorf, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney and Melbourne, with a focus on expanding further throughout those regions.

Based at Engine’s London office, Moffatt reports to Engine’s recently appointed global CEO, Kasha Cacy.

He has been at R/GA for the past 10 years, most recently as executive vice president/managing director, Asia Pacific. In that role, he led the agency's expansion from one satellite office in Singapore with 10 employees to a regional group of more than 250 across offices in Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Shanghai and Tokyo. Earlier in his career, he spent time at Nike and AKQA.

He replaces Debbie Klein, who left in February for the group chief marketing and corporate affairs officer position at Sky.
