A woman has lost her appeal against an article in
The Sun which mocked her love for a chandelier, called Lumiere. IPSO disagreed with her contention that she was in a relationship with the
light fitting and so the article could not be seen as challenging her sexuality. The claimant used the case to make clear she is not actually married to the chandelier, but is in a relationship with
it.
