Online Marketing Excellence by Industry Sector and Websites Retail/E-Commerce, Always-On Growth

Sidecar redesigned GoFoodservice’s search engine marketing with a campaign to increase visibility of products restaurants needed most to keep their businesses open during COVID-19, like hand sanitizer and outdoor heaters. During the first half of 2020, GoFoodservice’s Google Shopping revenue grew by 73% and Bing Shopping revenue grew by 66% year over year, with return on ad spend exceeding the retailer’s goal by 35%. In the first half of 2021, ad metrics continued to climb. Bing Shopping revenue doubled, and Google Shopping revenue rose 33%, reaching 50% higher than the retailer’s goal.
