Online Marketing Excellence by Industry Sector and Websites Retail/E-Commerce, Levi's Double Portal - Cure for Joyless Shopping

UM Canada helped Levi Strauss & Co. create an experience during the height of COVID-19 by partnering with Snapchat using artificial intelligence through a camera lens that allowed Gen Z consumers to explore, try on and purchase Levi’s clothing. Using the rear camera, consumers were transported onto a virtual boardwalk by a Canadian mountain lake, and then directed into a 360° virtual showroom to provide an immersive shopping experience. The campaign reached 2.8 million unique Snapchat users in the first month, exceeding benchmarks, and sparked conversation that generated more than 1 million earned impressions.
