Entertainment arts ad agency AKA named Melanie Brister, head of social media and influencer engagement, and Kevin Christian, head of paid media.
Previously, Brister had been with Sotheby's,
leading social media efforts. She will lead a team to enhance engagement for AKA clients across social platforms.
Christian, a media planning veteran, has worked for various ad agencies,
including Ogilvy & Mather, Mediacom and Carat.
The new hires will work in partnership with Elyce Henkin, Head of Earned Media and Partnerships, and Miky Wolf, Chief Creative
Officer.
“As the paid, earned, and shared media landscape continues to blur boundaries, it’s more important than ever for our strategy to focus on an integrated
media model,” said Henkin.
AKA clients include Amazon Prime, Disney, The Met, The British Museum, the National Theatre and Netflix.
