ECI Software Solutions, a specialist in cloud-based management tools, has acquired ES Tech Group, a U.K.-based software provider serving small and medium-sized enterprise B2B firms. Terms were not disclosed. 

The purchase strengthens ECI’s position as a global ecommerce platform and helps it meet its mission of offering customers “the ability to run a superior online presence while driving data-driven decisions through their back-end ERP solution,” says Trevor Gruenewald, CEO of ECI.

ES Tech Group's mission is to “provide SME businesses with world-class technology and services, allowing them to protect their businesses and compete head-on, and win, against the biggest competitors,” says Paddy Donnelly, CEO of ES Tech Group.

The firm serves industrial, business supplies, electrical, plumbing, gas/welding and medical supplies companies. 

It also has an agency that provides catalog development and other services.
