Tinder Unveils 'Matchmaker," Enlists Col Leray To Help Promote It

Dating site Tinder has added a new feature called Tinder Matchmaker, which lets friends and family recommend profiles to users without becoming members themselves.

The feature is being promoted in a new campaign featuring rapper Coi Leray.  The campaign was created in partnership with creative AOR Mischief @ No Fixed Address.

In the ads, designed to illustrate the power of the “friend test,” Leray is dubbed “The Matchmaking Monarch of Tinder Court.”

“Handing your phone over to the group was the original vibe check,” says Leray. The Tinder Matchmaker tool, she adds, “is a fun way to get the bestie seal of approval even before the match,” she adds.

In a “Matchmaker” session, users can share a link with up to 15 friends in a 24-hour period. The Tinder user still makes the final call on who to like, but now knows who their friends are rooting for.
