Webster To Head Ogilvy's Global Tech Practice

Ogilvy Consulting hired David Webster to lead a new global technology practice for the company.

Previously, Webster was executive vice president, strategy, at McCann, handling the agency’s Verizon business. Before that, he spent 15 years at Microsoft as the general manager of brand and marketing strategy.

Earlier in his career, Webster served as a managing director at Siegel + Gale, a global brand strategy consultancy.

Susan Machtiger, president of Ogilvy Consulting, North America, said: “Given the influence of commerce, AI, MarTech, and the ongoing need for transformation across various categories, David will play a crucial role as we advise our portfolio of clients.”

Ogilvy is a WPP company.
