Lycos today is slated to announced a new desktop blog editing tool, powered by Qumana, which allows users of the free application to insert keyword-specific ads in one click, and to customize ads to
their blog; edit old posts from other blogs; conduct offline editing and one-click posting to one or more blogs; integrate with all major blog platforms; upload images; and spell check their work. The
Lycos-Qumana Desktop Blog Editor works with Qumana's Qads, an integrated ad program, allowing bloggers to insert ads into their blogs, while revenue from these ads is shared with the bloggers.
