Advertising company WPP Group Plc, recently embroiled in a dispute over directors' salaries, paid chief executive Martin Sorrell 2.13 million pounds ($3.9 million) in 2003, a third more than last
year. WPP's annual report, published on Wednesday, revealed that Sorrell's total remuneration included a bonus of 1.26 million pounds in 2003. His basic salary was 840,000 pounds.
