MSN Unveils 'Reality Baseball' Site

  • July 11, 2006
MSN today launched "Fan Club: Reality Baseball," a site where users can read about the season of the Schaumberg Flyers--a minor league baseball team based in a Chicago suburb--and vote on key coaching decisions, including the team roster, the batting order, pitching rotation, trades, and free agent deals. The site will include videos of the Flyers' season, player profiles, game highlights, and behind-the-scenes footage about the players' and coaches' lives. The feature was created in partnership with Schematic, an interactive marketing agency, and LivePlanet, which produced HBO's "Project Greenlight" series, and will include display ads and streaming video ad placements.
