CBS Digital Hires TV Liaison

CBS Digital has tapped former ABC exec John Barzilay to serve in the newly created role of vice president, entertainment. Barzilay will act as the liaison between CBS Digital Media and the CBS Paramount Television Entertainment group, working to create new content as well as re-purpose TV programming for digital distribution. Prior to joining CBS Digital, Barzilay worked as a consultant in the broadcast, cable and wireless industries, and served as senior vice president for Disney/ABC's Cable Networks Group.
