MPG Taps Another Carat Exec, Suky To Lead Glaxo, ExxonMobile

MPG has tapped a new leader for its global ExxonMobile and GlaxoSmithKline accounts. Scott Suky will head those businesses as senior vice president and group account director. He is the the third top Carat executive raided by MPG since Charlie Rurman was named CEO of the Havas media shop.

"Scott is exactly the right person to be overseeing these two key clients," said Christopher O'Connor, executive vice president -managing director, in New York. "Throughout his career he has demonstrated an impressive track record in leveraging consumer insights, organizing strategic service offerings and bringing high-level thinking into media and marketing plan development."

Suky was senior vice president/client and commercial development director at Aegis Group's Vizeum USA, following his role as senior vice president-group client director at Carat.

"I believe MPG is a hidden gem. It's a company that's starting to hit its stride, and this is a group I'm proud to be part of," Suky said. He will report to O'Connor.

Suky is the latest executive with ties to Carat to join MPG. He follows Charlie Rutman, now CEO of MPG North America, and Sarah Power, who joined MPG from Carat before heading to Initiative in March.
