IAC announced the launch of what it termed the first mobile service to combine local content, social networking and GPS navigation. The service, Ask Mobile GPS, currently culls from IAC's Ask.com, Citysearch.com and Evite.com, and is expected to add other IAC brands like Match.com, Ticketmaster.com and RealEstate.com later this year, according to IAC President and Chief Operating Officer Doug Lebda.

Separately yesterday, Lebda named C.D. Davies as chief executive officer and promoted Bob Harris to president/chief operating officer of IAC's online lending exchange LendingTree. Davies was formerly president chief executive officer at Wachovia Mortgage Corp. Harris joined LendingTree in 2000 as vice president of marketing ad became chief marketing officer in 2004.
