Ex-Yahoo COO Daniel Rosensweig Joins Quadrangle

Former Yahoo Chief Operating Officer Daniel Rosensweig has been named operating principal at Quadrangle Capital Partners, a unit of private investment firm Quadrangle Group that specializes in private equity for the media and communications industries.

Qaudrangle said that Rosensweig will open a new Silicon Valley office for the firm next month.

Before working at Yahoo, Rosensweig was president of CNET Networks, and prior to that, president and CEO of ZDNet.
