Perooz Launches Mobile Advertising Content Converter

  • August 3, 2007
Seattle-based software service provider Perooz.com has launched a technology platform that allows publishers to port both new and existing content, including ad campaigns, from the Web to any mobile media device.

Perooz.com's platform automates the process, allowing publishers to use RSS or HTML to upload, optimize, and then distribute content to devices such as Apple's iPhone and iPod, Sony PSP and Microsoft's Zune.

The Perooz.com platform also supports ad-serving technologies like Google AdSense, DoubleClick DART and Microsoft's ATLAS DMT, as well as customized solutions. The technology provides specific impression-based reporting even if the user's device is not connected to the Web.

"When Sony released the first PSP, Perooz.com was the leader in providing optimized content for the next generation of portable media devices. Now, with new devices such as the Apple iPhone, we are taking it a step further," says Bart Barden, vice president of technology.

The software service provider also revamped its Web site to coincide with the announcement.
