MSNBC used to simulcast Imus' radio show before he got canned
in April for his racially charged on-air remarks. Scarborough, a former Republican congressman, has been a nighttime personality for the cable net MSNBC, but has been trying out his "Morning Joe"
program for the past few months. And except for an occasional guest host, MSNBC isn't trying out anyone else.
WFAN did a brief run of Scarborough's program on the radio, but hasn't done so lately. It remains unclear if an Esiason show would be syndicated to the stations that used to carry Imus.
