ABC Resurrects Original Movies

ABC ditched airing original movies last season, but brings them back this season beginning with two high profile projects backed by Oprah Winfrey and Sean Combs. Oprah Winfrey Presents: "Mitch
Albom's For One More Day" airs December 9 and "A Raisin In the Sun" airs February 25.
"For One More Day" stars Michael Imperioli and Ellen Burstyn, and the adaptation of the play, "A
Raisin In the Sun" stars Sean Combs, Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald and Sanaa Lathan, stars of the Broadway revival, and John Stamos.
2006-07 is thought to be was the first broadcast season that ABC didn't air an original movie or miniseries.
