Strike To Delay Return Of '24'

The writers' strike has pushed Fox to hold back its premiere of "24," which had been planned to come back in January. "The seventh season premiere of '24' is being postponed to ensure that 'Day 7' can air uninterrupted, in its entirety," the network says. Instead, mid-season drama "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" will move from its Sunday 9 p.m. slot to "24's" Monday 9 p.m. time. That series will roll out Sunday, Jan. 13 at 8 p.m., and then move into its new regular time the next night. Fox has released a tentative schedule that would take it through the spring--although it is subject to change, depending on how long the writers strike lasts.
