XM Radio has rolled out a new channel dedicated to the music of Led Zeppelin yesterday that features the band's complete catalog, interviews and other unique content. As "XM LED: The Led Zeppelin
Channel" launches, the satellite radio firm is also offering the U.S. premiere of a newer-issued two-disc soundtrack for the band's landmark concert film "The Song Remains the Same" that has six
previously unreleased songs from its 1973 Madison Square Garden shows.
The new station is just one of several milestones for the band, which is also issuing "Mothership," a 24-track
re-mastered career retrospective while making its whole catalog available digitally and staging a reunion show for the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute concert in London. Led Zeppelin has sold over 300 million
albums worldwide, and "XM LED" will be available through early next May.
