Avenue A|Razorfish Names Singh Director Of Strategic Initiatives

Avenue A|Razorfish has named Shiv Singh director of strategic initiatives--a new role that focuses on the agency's social media efforts.

In addition to encouraging experimentation with social media throughout the agency, Singh will help introduce clients to Avenue A|Razorfish's brand of integrated social media marketing.

Singh is an Avenue A|Razorfish veteran, having amassed some nine years with the interactive shop out of multiple locations--including the New York and London offices. Avenue A|Razorfish is an operating unit of Microsoft's aQuantive, part of the software giant's Advertiser and Publisher Solutions (APS) group.

"Because of the Web, we're more influenced by each other than ever before and that has major implications for large organizations as they try to figure out and market to consumers," Singh said.
