ABC News Expands Reach With Distribution Through NGN

  • April 12, 2001
ABC News announced today that it has reached an agreement to provide Next Generation Network (NGN) with daily news headlines and summaries to bring ABC News award-winning content to an even wider audience.

"ABC News viewers lead busy lives that often take them away from their television or computer," said Bob Murphy, senior VOof multimedia, ABC News. "By distributing our award-winning content through NGN, we can reach our audience in more aspects and outlets of their everyday life."

NGN screens are targeted to out-of-home consumers and are strategically placed in high-traffic locations, including convenience stores, quick-serve restaurants, pharmacies, office buildings and transit stations. The NGN network alternates customized content with advertisements and generates more than 50 million impressions weekly.
