Obama Girl Goes Mobile At Democratic Convention

Mobile video provider Buzzwire is launching a mobile channel offering entertainment-oriented coverage of the 2008 Democratic National Convention in partnership with Web sites Barely Political and Political Lunch.
Besides reports from Barely Political's famed "Obama Girl," Buzzwire's DNC 2008 channel will feature convention news updates, man-on-the-street interviews and party-scene videos from Political Lunch. Anyone with a video-enabled phone can tune in at m.buzzwire.com, or app.buzzwire.com via the Web.
For more buttoned-down coverage, NBC has said its NBC News 2 GO mobile TV channel (powered byMediaFLO) will show MSNBC's live coverage during the day and in primetime, while NBC Mobile will provided updates from MSNBC throughout the evening.--Mark Walsh
