Gene Daly has been named CEO of Oak Park, Ill.-based search engine optimization agency SEO Logic.

Daly's former agency of 14 years, Omnicom Group's Ketchum Directory Advertising--of which he was president--and SEO Logic collaborated on a number of client projects together.

In his new position, Daly will lead the SEO Logic team with particular emphasis on client service, business development and management of the agency's growth. SEO Logic founder C.J. Newton will move into the role of chief strategic officer.--Tanya Irwin
