Premium Odd-Sized Banner Network Launched

  • April 10, 2001
DirectNet Advertising.net, Inc. (DNA) has launched the Premium Odd Sized Banner Network, featuring specially sized banner ads designed to convert "dead" or unsold space into a source of incremental revenue for web publishers. POB utilizes the company's proprietary closed-loop ad tracking system, which tracks impressions, clicks, creative and, most importantly, actual customer actions to optimize ROI for its cost-per-action (CPA) advertising clients.

POB features ads in sizes and styles ranging from tiny text boxes with hot links to banners designed to fit into traditional and non-traditional spaces. Depending on the site's serving capability, DNA can also provide a version that serves rich-media banners. The company serves and controls Network ads from its own servers, making it less likely that they will be pre-empted by publishers, a problem plaguing traditional CPA-based ads that compete for space with more profitable cost-per-impression (CPM) based ads.
