Interwoven launched the TeamSite SitePublisher Component Contest Monday, challenging developers to build creative, flexible and reusable widgets, rich media applications and new forms of search navigation tools.

The contest asks the more than 25,000 members of Interwoven's developer network, DevNet, to design components for marketing professionals. The entries must give Web site visitors an "interactive and engaging" experience.

The entry deadline is Dec. 18, with winners announced in January. The grand prize winner will receive two round-trip airline tickets to their destination of choice anywhere in the world.--Laurie Sullivan
