WPP's Enfatico Hires Chief Digital Officer

Enfatico, the WPP company that is spearheading a new multidisciplinary, global approach to marketing services, announced three key additions to its digital leadership team, including the appointment of a chief digital officer.

Enfatico CEO Torrence Boone said the appointments reflect the company's drive to position digital "at the agency's core." He also pointed to the important role that emerging markets like China and India will have in shaping the next wave of digital innovation.

As chief digital officer, David Shulman will be responsible for leading all digital marketing efforts globally. Shulman will also work with the cross-disciplinary leadership team on brand, marketing strategy and global campaign execution. Shulman is the former president of the New York office of digital agency imc2, and former managing director of Digitas Detroit.

Josh Sklar was appointed global creative director, based in Austin, Texas. Sklar will lead creative development of all digital initiatives, as well as manage the Austin digital group. Sklar most recently served as global chief creative officer for WPP Digital's BLUE Interactive out of Singapore.

Jonathan Mo was appointed digital creative lead based in Beijing. A former interactive creative director for Leo Burnett, Mo will lead digital campaign development throughout Asia-Pacific and will tap into the budding innovation throughout the region.--Tanya Irwin
