AOL websites topped the Nielsen//NetRatings top 25 web properties list for at-home users for the week ending August 13 with 28,731,000 unique users. It was followed by Yahoo! with 25,873,000 unique users, MSN (19,770,000), Microsoft (16,961,000), Lycos Network (9,864,000), Excite@Home (8,975,000), GO Network (7,680,000), About.com (5,270,000), eBay (5,103,000), Time Warner (5,056,000), eUniverse Network (5,010,000), AltaVista (4,584,000), NBC Internet (4,551,000), LookSmart (3,846,000), iWon.com Inc. (3,740,000), Amazon (3,674,000), EarthLink (3,202,000), Ask Jeeves (3,149,000), SmartBot.NET Inc. (2,959,000), CNET Networks (2,876,000), The Go2Net Network (2,821,000), American Greetings (2,695,000), Viacom International (2,568,000), Real Networks (2,406,000), and Napster Inc. (2,288,000).
At-work users preferred Yahoo! with 13,682,000 unique visitors, followed by AOL Websites (13,313,000), MSN (11,284,000), Microsoft (9,427,000), Excite@Home (5,551,000), Lycos Network (5,537,000), GO Network (4,903,000), Time Warner (3,448,000), AltaVista (3,230,000), eBay (3,017,000), Amazon (2,848,000), About.com (2,789,000), iWon.com Inc. (2,667,000), NBC Internet (2,275,000), CNET Networks (2,233,000), LookSmart (2,140,000), CNN (1,998,000), eUniverse Network (1,883,000), The Go2Net Network (1,882,000), Real Networks (1,852,000), Weather Channel (1,832,000), ZDNet (1,651,000), InfoSpace (1,627,000), EarthLink (1,608,000), and Google (1,532,000).
Again, the top at-home advertiser, according to Nielsen//NetRatings, was TRUSTe with 542,575,000 impressions. It was followed by Microsoft (388,362,000), Yahoo! (212,305,000), eBay (163,292,000), Next Card (130,298,000), AllAdvantage (129,548,000), America Online (119,402,000), Amazon (108,375,000), mySimon (77,557,000), GetSmart (72,588,000).
The top ten at-work advertisers were TRUSTe (382,528,000), Microsoft (255,840,000), AllAdvantage (158,905,000), Yahoo! (135,493,000), mySimon (102,072,000), GetSmart (81,386,000), Next Card (71,210,000), Amazon (70,429,000), America Online (52,911,000), and eBay (48,862,000).
