NBC Gives Up On Post-Season Baseball

NBC opted not to keep its package of postseason major league baseball games, allowing Fox to gain the exclusive TV rights. Fox has offered about $2.5 billion in a bid to land major league baseball's entire postseason package from 2001-06, according to The Associated Press. NBC and ESPN had until Tuesday to match Fox's bid, industry sources said.
