It also will allow them to gather and analyze data from in-store and online transactions based on inventory and order fulfillment, customer relationship management and loyalty programs.
The agreement provides dedicated resources through Avanade, a global IT consultancy created by Accenture and Microsoft aimed at building and delivering successful solutions. The service also will offer cross-organizational teams focused on strategy and technology for Web, e-commerce, and digital marketing. The service is based on the new release of Microsoft Commerce Server 2009. It was unveiled at the National Retail Federation's (NRF) 98th Annual Convention & Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York.--Laurie Sullivan
