People With Data-Intensive Marketing Jobs Fret Over AI

According to a survey commissioned by data-platform Funnel, 64% of marketers say AI may or will replace their jobs in the next five years.

“The fear is even greater for people in data-intensive roles,” Funnel’s report says, pointing to jobs in search engine optimization, product marketing and media buying.

About two-thirds (61%) of marketers say they’re concerned or very concerned that AI will affect pay or marketability for SEO roles in the next five years, while 42% say they same thing about media buying.
