Time Names IAB Head As Digital Chief

Time Inc. has named Interactive Advertising Bureau head Randall Rothenberg as its first chief digital officer. In that role, he'll be responsible for developing and overseeing Time's digital growth strategy and for working closely with the company's digital teams in editorial, advertising, content, technology and other departments. Rothenberg will also be charged with identifying new digital revenue opportunities for Time, including potential acquisitions.

During his tenure as president and CEO of the IAB since 2007, membership of the trade group increased by 50% to 460 companies and revenue more than doubled. The IAB announced today that Patrick Dolan, recently promoted to EVP and Chief Operating Officer, will serve as the organization's acting leader. David Doty, also recently promoted to SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, will join Dolan in the IAB's leadership.

Mike Zaneis, was promoted to SVP and General Council, focusing on matters related to public policy in Washington, D.C., and Sherrill Mane, SVP of Industry Services, leading the organization's measurement and research efforts.
