Just days after the formal launch of Cox Digital Solutions, the new unit has acquired the IB Local Network, the local business and ad sales group of Internet Broadcasting. The move will give Cox
Digital a total of 150 employees in 10 markets and is aimed at expanding market opportunities through IB Local's publisher relationships. The formation of Cox Digital was
announced Tuesday through the merger of Adify and Cox Cross Media.
Internet Broadcasting, which
manages Web sites for local TV stations, said the deal would allow the company to focus on its core business of providing clients with its digital publishing platform and services. Read more here.
