Kindle On Fire Versus IPad

After missing expectations last in iPhone sales last quarter, analyst Shaw Wu of Stern Agee is expecting a much better performance at the end of the year. According to Wu, the iPhone 4S, plus the discounted iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS are driving higher shipments. Wu also says that iPhone supply is strong, but still can't keep up with demand. But the iPad is weakening after the introduction of the Kindle Fire. The Kindle Fire is $300 cheaper than the cheapest iPad. It's also possible people are picking the MacBook Air over the iPad, according to Shaw.
