Have you heard about the giant Zeppelin - named Eureka - flying over the San Francisco Bay Area this month? It’ll be coming to Los Angeles starting the first week of August. Operated by Airship Ventures and part of Airship Ventures Sponsorships, the Zeppelin provides a fun way to do promotions in the area.

“The Zeppelin is based in Silicon Valley, where social media reigns supreme,” stated Airship Ventures CEO Brian Hall. “Displaying a fun and friendly call to action, we’re encouraging people to look up – to the airship – and then down – to their mobile – to engage and share.”

Previous local brands that have used Eureka are regional newspaper publisher Bay Area News Group, Unwired Planet, Nickelodeon, personal genetics leader 23andMe and Disney-Pixar’s animated film UP.

Eureka will stick around the Bay Area for the rest of this month before being in Los Angeles the first week of August. Keep an eye in the sky.
