HP's social media success was almost too successful

HP's social campaign for the launch of the new ultra-thing Spectre ultrabook was almost too successful -- when the cool sci-fi video went viral on social media, people assumed that it was the world's thinnest. Which it wasn't. So HP went back to the studio and produced a new video, showing the ports on the side of the Spectre... which obliquely let people know that it's probably not the world's thinnest.  And it turns out that was by design, according to Natalie Malaszenko, director of worldwide digital marketing and social media for HP, as the Spectre is intended to woo Mac lovers by allowing them to get rid of the "dongles."  P.S. "dongles" is a funny word.
