Entercom Promotes Shannon to VP/Market Manager, Sacramento

Entercom promotes Sean Shannon to VP/market manager for Entercom Sacramento. Shannon is currently director of sales for Entercom Seattle, but starting next week he will fill the void in Sacramento left by retired 45-year radio veteran John Geary. Shannon says he will to continue to push for copromotion of various events, like concerts and sports events. "Where I think [Entercom is] taking a leadership role is in finding ways to alternatively monetize the audience," Shannon said. "We are sharing in the results of the campaign because we've defined specifically what the offer is."
