Generative AI is being offered to nonprofit fundraisers through a writing tool from software firm Giveffect.  

The new product, AI Writer, can help teams create nonprofit fundraising descriptions, emails, blog posts, social-media captions, grant applications and appeal letters, the company says.

The goal is to “alleviate the time constraints faced by nonprofit professionals, enabling them to focus on their mission and create meaningful impact without juggling between different systems," says Allan Shin, co-founder and chief product officer at Giveffect. 

Built within Giveffect software, AI Writer combines artificial intelligence technology with templates and parameter settings to automate content creation, the firm says. This is done in the same platform that includes their nonprofit CRM, donor management, volunteer management, fundraising, email marketing, grant tracking and analytics, it adds.
