HBO-Max Dominates Emmy Nominations, With 127

Max -- actually, HBO-Max for purposes of the Emmy Awards -- has dominated this year’s nominations, with 127 across 17 original programs, including 27 for “Succession.” 

“Succession”’s nominations include best drama, lead actress (Sarah Snook) and a record three lead actor nominations for a single series (Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin and Jeremy Strong).

Among the streamer’s other nominations: 24 for “The Last of Us” and 23 for Season 2 of “The White Lotus.”  

Netflix came in second, with 103 nominations, including 13 each for “Beef” and “Dahmer," 12 for “Wednesday," and six for "The Crown.”   

Among other streamers, Hulu grabbed 60 nominations; Apple TV+ pulled 54, including 21 for “Ted Lasso"; Disney+ pulled 40, and Amazon had its best year to date, with 46 nominations combined for Prime Video and Freevee. 

The Roku Channel received 12 nominations, Peacock and Showtime eight each, Paramount+ seven, and Starz two.
