Shanice Bland To Head Video Operations At New York Times

The New York Times has named Shanice Bland as video operations manager. Bland will manage the workflow across all New York Times Cooking video production.
Most recently, Bland served as a producer with Thematic Campaigns, managing shoots for more than 50 clients. Prior to that, Bland worked for BuzzFeed News and as a production coordinator in politics.
In addition, Isabel Montes has been hired as recipe video editor. Montes will help add more video and instructive visuals to New York Times Cooking.
Montes joins the Times from Food52, where she was a cooking video editor, creating editing styles for series on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
