Spike Lee session at Sport Beach '23

Stagwell has added some big names in the sporting world to the roster of participants at its upcoming Sport Beach event at the Cannes ad festival. 

The multiday event explores an array of sports marketing, culture and “fandom” topics. 

In addition to big league players like star NFL quarterback Joe Barrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and World Champion skier and businesswoman Mikaela Shiffrin, more than a dozen blue chip brands have signed on as sponsors including Meta, Diageo, NBA’s Chicago Bulls, tech company LoopMe, wine brand Le Fete and others.  

Recess Pickleball (backed by tennis stars Naomi Osaka and Nick Kyrgios) is back again to run a pickleball tournament during the event.  

Sport Beach debuted at Cannes last year and Stagwell wants to make it an annual event. This year it is moving to a bigger venue at La Plage du Festival on the Crossette.
