Papa John's, GameFly Target Dudes In Multi-Tiered Promo

GameFly and Papa John's are betting that their key demographic is the same.

In a new multi-tiered promotion that launched this week, the companies are offering a trial membership to GameFly, the leading online video game rental service, as well as $10 Papa John gift cards good for online ordering.

The integrated promotion is being offered on pizza boxes and across multiple online customer touch points. The pizza boxes direct consumers to a unique GameFly page. This month, GameFly will feature a special Papa John's pizza coupon for GameFly subscribers on envelopes in which games are shipped directly to customers.

Like Netflix, GameFly allows subscribers to rent video games through the U.S. Postal Service. Papa John's is the world's third-largest pizza company.
