Take-Two Interactive Software has named Gary Dale as the company's new executive vice president. Dale most recently served as the COO of the company's Rockstar Games label.

In his new role, Dale will focus on optimizing New York-based Take-Two's sales, distribution and business development efforts, as well as serving as the corporate liaison for the Rockstar Games, 2K Sports and 2K Play labels.

Prior to taking the COO position at Rockstar this January, Dale spent four years as the European managing director of Capcom.
