Fox, Walden Media Launch Campaign For 'Nim's Island' In IAC's Virtual World

Twentieth Century Fox and Walden Media have partnered with Zwinky.com, IAC's virtual world/social network, to promote their upcoming film "Nim's Island." New York-based Alloy Media + Marketing is the interactive shop behind the campaign.

On April 4, Fox Walden will release "Nim's Island," a film about the power of imagination, starring Jodie Foster and Abigail Breslin. Alloy Media + Marketing teamed up with Zwinky developers to create a movie-themed destination within the world of Zwinktopia--where members can interact with characters from the movie, participate in scavenger hunts and win "Nim's Island" memorabilia for their avatars. "Nim's Island" previews will also be shown at Zwinktopia's virtual movie theater, the "Zeeplex."

"Engaging, experiential worlds like Zwinktopia enable audiences to participate and interact with the world of the film in an impactful and personal way," said Jeffrey Godsick, president of marketing at Fox Walden.
