Sr. Digital Media Strategist

Primary Job Function:

  • Lead and develop strategy for Multicultural digital efforts to drive client KPIs and achieve annual diversity goals

  • Collaborate with internal agency strategy and investment teams to provide strategic insights and recommend innovative solutions that generate impactful results in reaching multicultural target segments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review media briefs with clients and agency for key campaigns

  • Provide additional insights for key AA initiatives and other multicultural efforts

  • Assist with development and implementation of strategies to increase the inclusion of diverse owned media vendors, with an emphasis on digital media

  • Provide input on POV’s for multicultural media opportunities

  • Coordinate communication between investment teams and key partners for cross platform sponsorships

  • Work directly with investment team to manage added value elements for key AA sponsorships

  • Assist with the evaluation and reporting of PMP analytics and performance

  • Research and stay current on media industry topics and trends, especially as it relates to multicultural media

  • Attend client requested conferences and events as needed for both media agency and/or client

To be considered you must:

  • Have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Have a BS/BA or higher degree

  • Have competency across all digital media planning (display, video, programmatic, mobile, search, and social)

  • Demonstrate ability to deliver accurate and detailed work in a timely manner

  • Have experience working within a media buying and planning agency or media company environment

  • Demonstrate creative thinking, being proactive and an outgoing personality

  • Be highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, workbook links) and PowerPoint skills (embedded video, enhanced graphics)

  • Possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Be able to work from multiple locations as needed

  • Have ability to work on multiple assignments under tight deadlines

  • Be able to travel out of town on a limited basis as needed

Desired skills:

  • Experience in multicultural strategy and implementation
