Position Summary:

Architect and drive the vision for ingestion, management and processing of paid advertising data. Provide leadership to maximize the use of data tools and resources, facilitating best-in-class campaign measurement capabilities and data management best practices across all paid media channels. Deploy and manage data platforms, and integrate systems to enable paid media evaluation. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage software and tools involved with the execution of media campaigns, including but not limited to third party ad servers, ad verification systems, big data platforms, attribution platforms, data management platforms, media procurement platforms and workflow management tools
  • Develop and support platforms and systems that ingest, transform and extract data; deploy and troubleshoot media measurement systems, and support tool utilized in the trafficking and measurement of advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with analysts in paid media to understand and support campaign measurement strategies and to ensure quality data across media channels: broadcast, out-of-home, digital display, streaming media, paid search and paid social
  • Establish, coordinate and maintain data feeds with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that continuity and level of service are maintained
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to improve the data management processes, systems, and standards, and establish an on-going process to maintain quality data and define quality audit processes
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop data management and quality best practices to meet the business objectives of the paid media teams
  • Direct the development, implementation, and testing of tagging efforts to ensure accurate and appropriate capture of paid media data
  • Assist senior manager, media insights in evaluating new products and technology, champion for recommended technologies and approaches, and ensure key implementations are prioritized and stay on track
  • Assist with the development of trafficking processes and best practices to ensure successful deployment

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or related equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing, web development or data management role
  • Expertise with client-side website development technology, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript; familiarity with AJAX frameworks and libraries a plus
  • Understanding of the role played by web servers, server-side scripting, databases and application frameworks
  • Ability to discuss technology and data management in easy-to-understand terms for both digital and non-digital stakeholders
  • Adaptable to new industry tools and processes
  • Ability to debug and problem-solve
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
  • Experience with advanced data management tools, such as Alteryx and Tableau
  • Familiarity with big data platforms, database querying languages and statistical programming
  • Understanding of third-party ad servers, paid media channels and advertising industry terminology
  • Proficiency with DoubleClick and Adobe tool suites
