This is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level sales rep that wants to learn the ropes of the sales process and be an important part of the client experience!

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling subscription renewals and up-selling print and digital products within the media industry to advertising agencies, marketers and universities. This position entails warm calling existing clients with the goal of gaining more business through providing expert recommendations.


KEY OUTCOMES

Manage the client relationship via email and phone calls
Gather customer information and expectations quickly to recommend and up-sell specific products and solutions
Renew subscriptions, but drive further business opportunities
Communicate and build relationships professionally via phone and email
Manage, track and update client account information in CRM database


CAPABILITIES

1 - 2 years of experience in a sales or account management role / internship
Ability to listen to client's expectations and needs to identify business opportunities
Self-starter who can manage their time wisely
Professionalism in client communication and work ethic
Strong interest in learning business development
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
CRM experience a plus
