What we’re looking for in a candidate 

You’ll have experience working with aviation and travel technology companies, within a marketing agency environment. You’re a great communicator and value brevity over verbosity. You have in-depth knowledge of how different marketing strategies work together to drive brand visibility, sales and business growth. You like the creative side of marketing but also love the operations side of the business, including planning and project management. Although you have created content marketing strategies and developed the content for those plans, most of your career has straddled between content development and operations/execution.

What the role will entail 
You will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing content marketing strategies for agency clients in the airline, aviation and travel technology sectors, to support their business and visibility goals.

You’ll work with the team Strategy Lead and PR account managers, and manage internal and external resources, including writers, designers, and digital marketers. You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of content marketing programs, including content development, copywriting and editing, and have extensive experience developing B2B marketing content such as web articles, sales emails, social copy, landing pages, case studies and other types of B2B communications. You’ll also be responsible for reporting on all content and digital marketing efforts.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Work independently and become the content marketing operations lead for multiple accounts at any one time
  • Manage end-to-end content marketing operations, including content development, editing and proofing
  • Develop and maintain efficient content marketing operations processes across and communication flow between internal and external teams
  • Work with multiple stakeholders within agency accounts to gather information for content development, content reviews and approvals
  • Manage the on-time deployment of content, including tracking content approvals, working with creative teams for content asset development, and assisting web development and digital campaign deployment.
  • Develop high quality copy for campaigns if needed
  • Providing editing and proofing oversight for our writers
  • Develop creative briefs for design teams and ensure creative assets match brand guidelines and messaging
  • Identify any production holdups and work with various teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain highly efficient processes using various project management, tracking and reporting tools
  • Create frequent reports to communicate the performance of content and digital marketing campaigns

Your experience

  • Marketing agency experience working with airline or travel technology companies
  • At least six years in a content marketing role, with at least two years of project management/content marketing operations experience
  • Worked with various marketing platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Pardot
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Monday, Trello, Workfront or Workamajig
  • Experience using native social media platforms and popular third-party management tools for LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
